Allied Universal in Orlando, FL seeks a Part-Time Security Officer with a valid DoD Secret Clearance to protect and monitor our aerospace and defense site. You will provide customer service, enforce site policies, and respond to emergencies while maintaining a visible, professional presence.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of security-related experience.
• Active DoD Secret Clearance.
• A valid driver’s license is required.
• Be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• A background investigation will be conducted as a condition of employment.
• A drug screen will be required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may apply depending on state/local laws.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and vendors at an aerospace and defense location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials and visitor authorization, and maintain accurate access-related documentation.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, solution-oriented manner and notify appropriate contacts and responders.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, restricted areas, parking areas, and the perimeter to deter unauthorized activity.
• Report unusual activity and policy violations through established channels while maintaining professionalism.

What You’ll Do:

• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, communicating observations to appropriate site contacts and emergency responders.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, restricted areas, parking areas, and the perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Report unusual activity, facility conditions, and policy violations through established channels while maintaining professionalism and confidentiality.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
• Maintain an active DoD Secret Clearance.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
