Allied Universal, North America’s leading security and facility services company, is seeking a Part-Time Security Officer Unarmed Patrol with a DoD Secret Clearance in Melbourne, FL. You will monitor facilities, perform patrols, control access, and provide courteous service to personnel and visitors.

This role offers a flexible schedule (Fri–Sun 1:00 PM–9:00 PM) with pay of $19.46 per hour, and access to our Shift-claim platform and rewards program.

Qualifications

• Must have at least two years of security-related experience.
• Active DoD Secret Clearance required.
• Be at least 21 years of age; 18+ for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Access control and badge experience preferred.
• Alarm panel experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and contractors at an aerospace/defense location.
• Conduct regular unarmed patrols of facilities, access points, restricted areas, parking areas, and perimeter.
• Monitor access control points, verify credentials, assist with visitor and contractor entry.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and incidents; document activities per procedures.
• Prepare clear reports and maintain logs related to patrols and security observations.

As an Unarmed Patrol Officer supporting an aerospace and defense location, you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and assist with access control. Job Schedule:

• Fri: 01:00 PM - 09:00 PM
• Sat: 01:00 PM - 09:00 PM
• Sun: 01:00 PM - 09:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and contractors at an aerospace and defense location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of facilities, access points, restricted areas, parking areas, and the perimeter to help identify and report unusual activity or conditions.
• Monitor access control points, verify credentials as directed by site procedures, and assist with visitor and contractor entry processes.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate site contacts and document activities in accordance with procedures.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports and maintain required logs related to patrols, incidents, access activity, and security-related observations.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least two years of security-related experience.
• Possess an active DoD Secret Clearance.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
