Job summary

Allied Universal, North America's leading security and facility services company, is seeking a Part Time Security Officer in Saint Paul, MN. You will provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors while maintaining a secure environment at a medical device and manufacturing location.

As an Unarmed Patrol Officer, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, respond to incidents, document reports, and uphold safety procedures.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background investigation will be conducted as per applicable laws.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may be required by state/local laws.
• Valid driver’s license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities at a medical device and manufacturing location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access-control concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established escalation procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, production areas, offices, parking areas, and the perimeter to help identify and report unusual conditions.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify authorized access, and assist with visitor and contractor management in accordance with site requirements.
• Prepare clear and accurate reports of incidents, observations, patrol activities, and security-related concerns.

Pay Rate: $23.18 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Wed: 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM
• Thur: 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM

What You'll Do:

Minimum Requirements:

• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
