Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Part-Time Unarmed Patrol Security Officer in Saint Paul, MN to protect healthcare locations and safeguard employees, visitors, and assets. You will perform routine patrols, maintain a visible presence, respond to incidents, and deliver professional customer service in a healthcare setting.

The role requires at least 1 year of security experience, being 18+ (or 21+ if armed), a high school diploma, and the ability to pass background checks and drug screening.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and vendors at a healthcare-related business location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, medical-related situations, and critical events in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following site protocols and notifying appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of the facility, exterior grounds, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and observe activity throughout the location, reporting unusual conditions, hazards, policy violations, and maintenance concerns to site leadership or Allied Universal supervision.
• Complete accurate incident reports, patrol logs, and other required documentation while maintaining a professional presence in a healthcare environment.
