Job summary

DSI Security Services in Wilmington, NC is hiring part-time Security Officers to protect client sites and the public. You will perform patrols, observe and report hazards, and enforce client and company policies with professionalism.

The role requires strong communication, reliable transportation, and the ability to work all shifts (Second and Third) with part-time hours. Training and safety procedures are provided, with competitive pay of $16.50 per hour.

Qualifications

• Minimum 18 years of age
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid driver's license preferred
• Reliable transportation and means of communication
• Basic to intermediate computer skills
• Effective written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to conduct routine foot patrols, moderate lifting, and work in all weather conditions
• Must meet all preemployment requirements

Responsibilities

• Maintain a safe and secure environment through visible presence and routine patrols
• Observe, report, and respond to hazards, incidents, and suspicious activity
• Follow DSI policies, client requirements, and post-specific instructions
• Interact professionally with clients, visitors, employees, and the public
• Complete required reports and documentation accurately and timely
• Participate in training and comply with DSI safety procedures and manuals
