Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Part Time Patrol in Wilmington, NC. You will serve and safeguard clients across various industries, building a flexible schedule through our Claim a Shift platform while delivering professional customer service.

As an Unarmed Patrol Officer, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, deter security incidents, and communicate with visitors and staff with integrity and courtesy.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
• Background investigation in accordance with federal, state, and local laws will be conducted
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applicants with criminal histories as allowed by law
• A drug screen will be conducted where permitted by law
• Licensing requirements are subject to state/local laws; a valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures and site policies
• Respond to incidents and critical situations calmly and effectively
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the location and perimeter
• Observe and report suspicious activity, hazards, and abnormal conditions
• Maintain accurate activity logs and communicate information to appropriate personnel
