Qualifications

• Have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
• Have at least 2 years of law enforcement, military, or corrections experience.
• Be comfortable using a computer or tablet.
• Possess access control and badge experience, preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check and drug screen per law.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations calmly and escalate as needed.
• Conduct regular unarmed patrols of manufacturing areas, parking lots, and facility perimeter.
• Monitor access to designated areas, verify visitor and contractor authorization, and log activities.
• Communicate professionally with employees, visitors, contractors, and emergency responders per protocols.

As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, support access control activities, and communicate professionally with employees and visitors. Pay Rate: $19.10 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Mon 02:30 PM - 10:30 PM
• Wed 02:30 PM - 10:30 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities at a manufacturing and industrial location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of manufacturing areas, parking lots, access points, and the facility perimeter to help identify and report unusual activity or hazardous conditions.
• Monitor access to designated areas, verify visitor and contractor authorization, and maintain accurate activity logs and incident documentation.
• Communicate professionally with employees, visitors, contractors, and emergency responders while following Allied Universal and site-specific protocols.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess at least 2 years of security-related experience.
• Possess at least 2 years of law enforcement, military, or corrections experience.
• Be comfortable using a computer or tablet, preferred.
• Possess access control and badge experience, preferred.
• Possess customer service experience, preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
