Allied Universal is hiring a Security Officer - Screening Attendant in Phoenix, AZ. This part-time position focuses on access control, badge verification, and exceptional customer service at a logistics and distribution site.

You will screen personnel and visitors, monitor entry points, report suspicious activity, and maintain a safe, orderly environment while supporting a responsive, client-focused security team.

Qualifications

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control/badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

• Screen employees, visitors, contractors, packages, and/or personal belongings in accordance with site procedures and applicable access requirements.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and authorization, and help control access to restricted areas.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, reporting concerns through established communication channels.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of designated areas, including the business, loading areas, parking locations, and perimeter, while documenting observations and irregularities.

Pay Rate: $19.92 / Hour

Job Schedule

• Friday: 11:00 AM - 10:00 PM
• Saturday: 02:30 PM - 10:00 PM
• Sunday: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
