Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Part Time Entry Screening in New Oxford, PA. You will safeguard clients, verify access, and maintain a visible presence to deter incidents at a food and beverage site.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles; 21+ years for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background investigation as required by federal/state/local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may be required prior to employment depending on state/local laws.
• A valid driver's license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, vendors, and delivery personnel by following security-related procedures, site-specific policies, access-control protocols, and emergency response activities.
• Monitor access points at a food and beverage production location, verify entry, issue visitor credentials, maintain access records, and report unauthorized access concerns.
• Screen incoming and outgoing personnel, vendors, and deliveries per site policies, directing visitors and contractors to check-in processes.
• Respond to incidents calmly, escalate concerns to site leadership and/or emergency responders as directed.
• Conduct regular patrols of access points, the facility perimeter, parking areas, and other assigned locations to deter unauthorized activity.

Pay Rate: $16.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Wed: 04:30 PM - 12:00 AM
• Thur: 04:30 PM - 12:00 AM
• Fri: 04:30 PM - 12:00 AM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, vendors, and delivery personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, access-control protocols, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Monitor access points at a food and beverage production location, verify authorized entry, issue visitor credentials, maintain access records, and report unauthorized access concerns according to site procedures.
• Screen incoming and outgoing personnel, vendors, and deliveries in accordance with site policies, including directing visitors and contractors to appropriate check-in processes.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns to site leadership and/or emergency responders as directed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, the facility perimeter, parking areas, and other assigned locations to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
