Position includes patrols, access monitoring, incident response, and clear reporting to site contacts. Prior security and customer service experience preferred; CPR and licensing where applicable.

Qualifications

• Minimum one year of security-related experience required.
• Access control and badge experience preferred.
• Guard card or license preferred.
• Customer service experience preferred.
• CPR certification preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and the public while following security procedures.
• Conduct regular unarmed patrols of government facilities, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity per site procedures and document observations.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations calmly and professionally.
• Prepare clear reports and maintain activity logs; communicate information to site contacts and leadership.

As an Unarmed Patrol Officer supporting a government location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, monitor access points, and report security-related concerns. You will provide professional customer service and clear communication while supporting a welcoming environment. Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $23.74 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Sat: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Sun: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and/or members of the public while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of government facilities, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter areas to help identify and report unusual conditions or unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with site-specific procedures, documenting observations and incidents as required.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, contacting appropriate personnel and/or emergency responders when needed.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports and maintain required activity logs, communicating relevant information to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.

Minimum Requirements:

• A minimum of one year of security-related experience is required.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
