Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Part Time Entry Authorization in Cleveland, OH. You will safeguard clients across industries, manage entry points, verify credentials, and provide excellent customer service while maintaining a secure environment.

The position offers part-time hours with a rotating Sat/Sun schedule and the flexibility to explore new roles through our Claim a Shift platform. Training and growth opportunities are provided in a welcoming team setting.

Qualifications

• Must be 18+ for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check required by federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may be required per state/local laws.
• Valid driver''s license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel by carrying out site-specific access-control procedures, policies, and emergency response activities at a food and beverage manufacturing location.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials, maintain visitor and contractor logs, and direct authorized individuals to appropriate areas.
• Help deter unauthorized access by observing access-control systems, reporting irregularities, and following escalation procedures.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including access-related concerns, alarms, and emergency notifications.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned access points, facility areas, and perimeter locations, while documenting observations and reporting maintenance or security-related concerns.

Pay Rate: $16.50 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Sat: 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM
• Sun: 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM

What You'll Do:

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
