Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Background check will be conducted in accordance with laws.
• Criminal history is considered in accordance with applicable laws.
• A drug screen is required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements vary by state/local laws and may be needed.
• A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and contractors at access-control points.
• Monitor entry points and verify authorization for employees, visitors, vendors, and deliveries.
• Maintain visitor, contractor, and delivery records and issue credentials as directed.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and incidents calmly following site procedures.
• Conduct regular patrols of access points and perimeters and report concerns.

Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $27.14 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Wed 01:00 PM - 06:00 PM
• Thur 01:00 PM - 06:00 PM
• Fri 01:00 PM - 06:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and contractors by carrying out site-specific access-control procedures, policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Monitor access points and verify authorization for employees, visitors, vendors, and deliveries entering or leaving the location.
• Maintain accurate visitor, contractor, and delivery records, issue and collect access credentials as directed, and report access concerns to site leadership.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, the business, and perimeter areas, reporting security-related concerns, unusual activity, and maintenance issues.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
