Allied Universal is hiring a Part Time Security Officer for Entrance Documentation in Blythewood, SC. You will protect clients, monitor access points, and engage with employees and visitors to ensure safety and quality service.

Position offers flexible shifts with day and weekend hours. Minimum requirements include 2+ years in security or related fields and a high school diploma. Background checks and drug screening apply.

As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a dynamic manufacturing and industrial location, you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, help to deter security-related incidents, and support access control activities. You will engage with employees and visitors, communicate clearly, and provide exceptional customer service while contributing to a caring, team-focused culture. Pay Rate: $19.10 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, employees, contractors, and visitors while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of manufacturing and industrial facilities, production areas, parking areas, access points, and perimeter locations to help identify and report unusual conditions.
• Monitor access to the location, verify credentials as assigned, and document visitor, contractor, and delivery activity in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns to appropriate personnel and emergency responders as directed.
• Prepare clear and accurate activity reports, incident documentation, and shift communications for security-related events and observed conditions.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 2 years of law enforcement, military police, or corrections experience.
• Have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
