Job summary

Allied Universal is hiring for a part-time security role at a food and beverage production site in the United States. The role pays $15.00 per hour and follows fixed shifts called anchor shifts, with a six-month commitment.

You can pick up extra shifts through our scheduling platform to increase earnings across multiple sites. Responsibilities include providing customer service to employees, visitors, vendors and drivers, performing access control, documenting entries, and maintaining site

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, vendors, and drivers at a food and beverage production location while carrying out site-specific access control procedures and emergency response activities.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials, document visitor and contractor entry, and help to deter unauthorized access to the facility.
• Control the entry and exit of vehicles, deliveries, and personnel in accordance with established site policies, including required screening and documentation processes.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, promptly communicating observations to appropriate site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned access areas, the business, and perimeter, reporting unusual conditions, maintenance concerns, and security-related incidents.

• Thur 06:00 PM - 06:00 AM

How This Role Works:

• Fixed-Shift Commitment (“Anchor Shifts”): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick-up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part-time hours this week and full-time the next. It’s all up to you.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
