Pay Rate: $17.50 / Hour, Part Time

How This Role Works:

• Fixed-Shift Commitment (“Anchor Shifts”): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick-up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part-time hours this week and full-time the next. It’s all up to you.

Job Schedule:

• Sat: 08:00 AM - 04:00 PM

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and vendors by carrying out access-control procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a technology, media, and telecommunications location.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials and visitor authorization, maintain entry records, and communicate access concerns in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, access-control alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate personnel and document events as required.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, business areas, and the perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Operate access-control systems, visitor management tools, and related equipment in accordance with Allied Universal and site-specific procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• A Guard Card/License is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Access control/badge experience is preferred.
• Comfortability using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
