Job summary

Allied Universal® seeks a Part-Time Security Officer Driver in Bay Minette, AL. Responsibilities

• Provide customer service and security procedures at a manufacturing/industrial site.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and emergencies calmly following site protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of production areas, offices, and perimeters.
• Monitor access, verify visitor/contractor authorization, log activities.
• Observe and report hazards, equipment concerns, and policy violations.

Pay Rate: $16.76 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Sat: 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM
• Sun: 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to our clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities in a manufacturing and industrial location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of production areas, offices, parking areas, access points, and the facility perimeter; working environments and conditions may vary by client site.
• Monitor access to the location, verify visitor and contractor authorization, and maintain accurate logs and reports of security-related activities.
• Observe and report unusual conditions, hazards, equipment concerns, and policy violations to appropriate site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 2 years of security-related experience is required.
• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• A Guard Card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
