Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Part Time Driver Badge Management Security Officer in Nazareth, PA to support access control at a busy distribution site. A valid driver’s license is required for driving responsibilities.

You will verify credentials, manage badge processes, monitor entry points, assist visitors, and maintain courteous service while following site procedures. Shifts are Tue/Sun 3:00 PM–11:00 PM; pay rate $17.00 per hour.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by executing security procedures, site policies, and access-control protocols.
• Monitor and control access to the distribution location by verifying credentials and directing personnel.
• Observe truck traffic and entrances; report unauthorized access and policy violations.
• Respond calmly to incidents and emergencies following escalation procedures.
• Conduct regular patrols of the facility and exterior areas according to client site needs.

• Tue 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM

• Valid Driver's License All candidates must possess a valid Australian driver's license in accordance with the AU Driver Policy Requirements (C123). This is essential for roles that require driving as part of job responsibilities.
• Access Control/Badge Experience Candidates should have prior experience with access control systems and badge management (B201). This experience is crucial for positions that involve security and access management.
• Alarm Panel Experience Familiarity with alarm panel systems (B202) is required for candidates applying for roles that involve monitoring and responding to security alarms.
• Comfortable Using Computer or Tablet Candidates must demonstrate proficiency in using computers or tablets (B204). This is necessary for roles that require digital communication, data entry, or the use of software applications.
• Customer Service Experience A background in customer service (B219) is essential for positions that involve direct interaction with clients or customers. Candidates should be able to demonstrate effective communication and problem-solving skills.
• Loss Prevention Experience Candidates should have experience in loss prevention (B210) for roles that focus on minimizing theft and ensuring the safety of company assets.

What You’ll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, access-control protocols, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Monitor and control access to the distribution location by verifying credentials, screening visitors, maintaining visitor records, and directing drivers, vendors, and delivery personnel in accordance with site procedures.
• Observe inbound and outbound truck traffic, loading areas, gates, and employee entrances; report unauthorized access, unusual activity, and policy violations to the appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established escalation and communication procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the business, perimeter, parking areas, access points, and warehouse-related exterior areas; working environments and conditions may vary by client site.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Experience with access control and badge systems is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Loss prevention experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
