Qualifications

• At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Guard card or license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Background check and drug screen will be conducted as a condition of employment.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by following site-specific security-related procedures, access-control policies, and/or emergency response activities within a manufacturing and industrial location.
• Monitor and control access to the facility by verifying credentials, maintaining visitor and contractor logs, and directing authorized personnel to designated areas.
• Respond to access-related incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of entry points, loading docks, warehouse areas, parking areas, and the business perimeter to help identify unauthorized access or unusual activity.
• Document incidents, access-control activities, and observations accurately and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.

What You'll Do:

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
