Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, drivers, and employees while enforcing site access-control procedures and security policies at a logistics/distribution location.
• Monitor entry/exit points, verify credentials, and maintain visitor/driver logs.
• Conduct patrols of assigned areas including building, perimeter, parking, loading docks, and trailer yards.
• Respond to incidents and access-control concerns following site emergency procedures.
• Report security observations and maintenance concerns promptly.

Age Requirement:

• All candidates must be at least 21 years of age (C101). This requirement is in place to ensure compliance with legal regulations and company policies.

Security Experience:

• Candidates must possess a minimum of one year of relevant security experience (C115). This experience should be documented and verifiable through references or previous employment records.

What You’ll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, drivers, and/or employees while carrying out site‑specific access‑control procedures and security‑related policies at a logistics and distribution location.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and authorization, maintain visitor and driver logs, and control access to restricted areas.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned areas, including the business, perimeter, parking areas, loading docks, and trailer yards, as applicable.
• Respond to incidents, access‑control concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, following site‑specific emergency response procedures.
• Report security‑related observations, incidents, and maintenance concerns promptly and accurately according to established procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least one year of security‑related experience.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
