Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to guests, visitors, and staff by following security procedures.
• Respond calmly to incidents and concerns, escalating per procedure.
• Conduct regular unarmed patrols of hotel guest areas and perimeters.
• Monitor access points and report suspicious activity to appropriate personnel.
• Complete logs, incident reports, and shift documentation accurately.

As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a hotel and resort location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, monitor access points, and assist guests, visitors, and staff with professionalism. You will use strong communication and customer service skills while supporting a welcoming environment. Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $16.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Tue: 09:00 PM - 06:00 AM
• Fri: 09:00 PM - 06:00 AM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to guests, visitors, and/or staff by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, guest concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, escalating matters according to established procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of hotel guest areas, entrances, parking areas, and the surrounding perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
• Monitor access points and observe activity throughout the location, reporting suspicious behavior, hazards, and policy violations to appropriate personnel.
• Complete required activity logs, incident reports, and shift documentation accurately and in a timely manner.

Minimum Requirements:

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control/badge experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
