Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a part-time Security Officer Foot Patrol in Portland, TN to provide customer service, conduct patrols, deter incidents, and maintain a visible presence. You will respond to incidents, document observations, and report to supervision while supporting a welcoming environment.

This role requires being at least 18, a high school diploma or equivalent, and passing background checks and a drug screen.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check in accordance with federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with laws.
• Drug screen as a condition of employment.
• Licensing requirements may be required by state/local laws and regulations.
• A valid driver’s license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and guests by carrying out site-specific procedures and appropriate emergency response activities at public tourism locations.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and notifying appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of visitor areas, offices, parking areas, and the property perimeter to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, provide directions and assistance, and report suspicious conditions or policy violations.
• Maintain accurate daily activity reports and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal supervision and site representatives.

Pay Rate: $17.70 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Fri 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM
• Sat 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM

What You'll Do:

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
