As a Security Officer at a food and beverage location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment through exceptional customer service and communication. Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $18.58 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Sat 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM
• Sun 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a food and beverage production location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site protocols and reporting requirements.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout production, warehouse, office, parking, and perimeter areas to help identify unusual activity, hazards, and unauthorized access concerns.
• Monitor access points, visitor and contractor activity, and vehicle traffic in accordance with site-specific procedures.
• Document patrols, observations, incidents, and shift activity in required reports, and communicate relevant information to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• The ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
• Loss prevention experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
