Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and vendors at a food and beverage production and distribution location, following site policies and emergency procedures when needed.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations calmly, following site protocols and informing appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of facility buildings, production areas, loading docks, parking areas, and perimeter to deter unauthorized activity and identify security concerns.
• Monitor access points and verify authorized entry for personnel, visitors, contractors, and deliveries per site requirements.
• Document observations and incidents accurately and communicate information to site leadership and Allied Universal management.

Job Description

As a Security Officer Full Time Patrol Route Driver in Clermont, KY, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Food/Beverage, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a dynamic food and beverage location. In this primarily driving role, you will conduct routine vehicle and foot patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, respond to security-related concerns, and provide outstanding customer service. What You'll Do

• Conduct regular and random patrols of facility buildings, production areas, loading docks, parking areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and verify authorized entry for personnel, visitors, contractors, and deliveries in accordance with site requirements.
• Document observations, incidents, patrol activities, and security-related concerns accurately and communicate relevant information to site leadership and Allied Universal management.

Minimum Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Ability to lift more than 20 lbs. is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
