Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a part-time Security Officer (Patrol Driver) in Winchester, KY. Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, contractors, and/or employees by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of facilities, access points, parking areas, and perimeter areas to identify unusual activity and report observations.
• Monitor access to assigned locations, verify authorized entry, and maintain required visitor/contractor/vehicle records.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations calmly and document actions taken.
• Assist with awareness of site conditions and report hazards or maintenance concerns, completing incident and daily activity reports.

As a Patrol Unarmed Officer at a utility location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support a welcoming environment for employees and visitors. This driving position requires a valid driver’s license. You will provide outstanding customer service, communicate clearly, and document security-related activities while demonstrating Allied Universal’s values of agility, reliability, innovation, teamwork, care, and integrity.

Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $15.50 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Fri 11:30 PM - 07:30 AM
• Sat 11:30 PM - 07:30 AM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, contractors, and/or employees by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of utility facilities, buildings, access points, parking areas, and perimeter areas to help identify unusual activity and report observations according to site procedures.
• Monitor access to assigned locations, verify authorized entry as directed, and maintain required visitor, contractor, and/or vehicle records.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel and documenting actions taken.
• Assist with maintaining awareness of site conditions that may affect utility operations, report hazards or maintenance concerns, and complete accurate incident and daily activity reports.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
