Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Part-Time Security Officer in Alexandria, KY. You will protect clients, monitor access, conduct patrols, and provide welcoming customer service while upholding site policies and safety procedures.

Position offers a 2-shift schedule (Tue and Thu) with a pay rate of $18.40 per hour, plus access to our Claim a Shift platform, training, and exclusive perks.

Qualifications

• Minimum Requirements: CPR certification preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check in accordance with laws.
• Drug screen per law.
• Licensing requirements may apply.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies.
• Respond to incidents and access-control concerns in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout facility buildings, parking areas, and perimeters.
• Monitor access points and visitor, employee, and contractor activity to deter unauthorized access.
• Complete accurate reports, logs, and incident documentation and communicate information to leadership and site contacts.

As an Unarmed Security Officer in a food and beverage production location, you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide welcoming customer service. You will communicate clearly with team members and visitors while supporting a caring, reliable, and integrity-driven environment at Allied Universal.

Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $18.40 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Tue: 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM
• Thur: 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities in a food and beverage production environment.
• Respond to incidents, access-control concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating issues according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout facility buildings, parking areas, loading docks, and the perimeter, documenting observations and irregular conditions.
• Monitor access points and visitor, employee, and contractor activity in accordance with site-specific procedures, helping to deter unauthorized access.
• Complete accurate reports, logs, and incident documentation while communicating relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.

Minimum Requirements:

• CPR certification is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
