Pay rate is $14.00 per hour, with a six‑month anchor shift commitment and potential to grow into a full‑time schedule up to 40 hours per week. Prior security/ customer service experience is a plus.

As a Security Officer Part Time Customer Service in San Antonio, TX, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking‑up additional shifts when it works for you.

Pay Rate: $14.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Fri – 05:00 PM - 06:00 AM
• Sat – 06:00 PM - 06:00 AM
• Sun – 06:00 PM - 06:00 AM

How This Role Works:

• Fixed-Shift Commitment (“Anchor Shifts”): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim‑A‑Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick‑up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part‑time hours this week and full‑time the next. It’s all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part‑time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build‑up to a full‑time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, vendors, and delivery personnel while carrying out site‑specific security‑related procedures and policies at a manufacturing and industrial location.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, production areas, warehouses, parking areas, loading docks, and the exterior perimeter to help identify unusual activity or conditions.
• Monitor access points, verify visitor and contractor authorization, and help maintain orderly entry and exit procedures for personnel and vehicles.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, following established emergency response activities and reporting requirements.
• Document patrols, incidents, observations, and security‑related concerns accurately and promptly, communicating relevant information to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.

Minimum Requirements:

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Possession of a guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
