Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $18.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Sat 07:00 AM - 03:00 PM
• Sun 06:30 AM - 03:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, drivers, and employees by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of warehouse areas, loading docks, trailer yards, parking areas, access points, and the business perimeter to help identify unusual activity and help to deter unauthorized access.
• Monitor access to the location by checking credentials, maintaining visitor and driver logs, and following established entry and exit procedures for personnel and deliveries.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; document observations and promptly report security-related concerns to site leadership and Allied Universal supervision.
• Observe shipping and receiving activity, support traffic flow around loading areas, and report damaged barriers, unsecured doors, or other conditions requiring attention.

Minimum Requirements:

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Access control or badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
