Qualifications

• Access control and badge experience is preferred, including issuing, tracking, and managing badges.
• Customer service experience is preferred, with the ability to handle inquiries and provide a positive experience.
• Proficiency using a computer or tablet to navigate software and online tools.
• Must be at least 18 for unarmed roles or 21 for armed roles; background/investigation and drug screen as per law.
• Licensing requirements may apply and a valid driver’s license is required for driving positions.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and drivers by following site-specific access-control procedures.
• Monitor and control access points by verifying credentials and maintaining logs; issue authorized badges or passes.
• Screen incoming/outgoing personnel, vehicles, and deliveries per site procedures and escalate as needed.
• Respond to access-control incidents and alarms calmly, documenting observations and actions taken.
• Conduct regular patrols of access points, facilities, and perimeter areas to deter unauthorized activity.

Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $20.80 / Hour

• Access Control/Badge Experience (B201) Candidates should have prior experience with access control systems and badge management. This includes familiarity with issuing, tracking, and managing access badges for employees and visitors.

• Comfortable Using Computer or Tablet (B204) Candidates must demonstrate proficiency in using computers or tablets. This includes the ability to navigate software applications, manage emails, and utilize online tools effectively.

• Customer Service Experience (B219) Candidates should possess a background in customer service. This includes experience in handling customer inquiries, resolving issues, and providing a positive customer experience.

• Tue: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Wed: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Thur: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and drivers by following site-specific access-control procedures, policies, and emergency response activities at a food and beverage production location.
• Monitor and control access points by verifying credentials, maintaining visitor and contractor logs, issuing authorized badges or passes, and directing guests to appropriate areas.
• Screen incoming and outgoing personnel, vehicles, and deliveries in accordance with site procedures, escalating unauthorized access attempts or unusual activity to appropriate personnel.
• Respond to access-control incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and actions taken.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, facility grounds, parking areas, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.

Minimum Requirements:

• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
