Allied Universal in Breinigsville, PA is seeking a Part Time Security Officer (Badge Printing) to protect client sites, verify access, badge credentials, and deliver welcoming customer service. You will work a two-shift schedule with overnight hours on weekdays and weekends, building a flexible, steady routine with our Claim a Shift platform.

Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $21.75 / Hour

• Security Experience (C115)Candidates must have a minimum of one year of experience in a security-related role. This experience should demonstrate the ability to handle security protocols and respond effectively to security incidents.

• Access Control/Badge Experience (B201)Candidates should possess experience with access control systems and badge management. Familiarity with issuing, tracking, and managing access badges is essential for maintaining security standards.

• Comfortable Using Computer or Tablet (B204)Candidates must demonstrate proficiency in using computers or tablets. This includes the ability to navigate software applications, manage electronic communications, and utilize digital tools effectively.

• Customer Service Experience (B219)Candidates should have a background in customer service, showcasing their ability to interact positively with clients and colleagues. Strong communication skills and a customer-oriented mindset are crucial for this role.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, access control requirements, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Monitor and control access to food and beverage distribution areas by verifying credentials, screening visitors, and maintaining visitor entry records.
• Respond to incidents, access-related concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; promptly report relevant information according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of facility entrances, loading docks, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least one year of security-related experience is required.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
