As an Access Control Officer at a logistics and distribution location, you will help maintain a secure environment by monitoring entry points, verifying credentials, managing badge access, and supporting visitors and team members with exceptional customer service. You will use computer or tablet systems to document activity, communicate clearly, and help deter security-related incidents. Pay Rate: $21.36 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Sat 01:00 AM - 09:00 AM
• Sun 01:00 AM - 09:00 AM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Monitor access points for employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel; verify credentials and maintain accurate access-related records in accordance with site procedures.
• Control entry and exit of vehicles at gates, including checking driver identification, shipping documentation, and assigned access authorization as required by site policy.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns to appropriate site contacts and emergency responders when needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, trailer yards, loading areas, parking lots, and the business perimeter to identify and report security-related concerns and help to deter unauthorized activity.

Minimum Requirements:

• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
