Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Unarmed Patrol Access Reconciliation for Chantilly, VA. This part-time role offers a flexible day schedule and utilizes badge and access-control systems to deter security incidents while delivering excellent customer service.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and assist with emergency response as needed.
• Respond to incidents, delivery concerns, and critical situations calmly and escalate per site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of loading areas, docks, yards, entrances, parking, and perimeter.
• Monitor access points and support visitor/contractor/driver entry in line with site requirements.
• Document patrols, incidents, and unusual activity; communicate key details to site leadership.

As an Unarmed Security Officer at a logistics and distribution location, you will monitor access points, conduct routine patrols, and maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. You will use computer or tablet systems to support badge and access control activities while delivering outstanding customer service and communication. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Respond to incidents, delivery-related concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating matters according to site-specific procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of loading areas, shipping and receiving docks, trailer yards, employee entrances, parking areas, and the business perimeter.
• Monitor access points and support visitor, contractor, and driver entry procedures in accordance with site requirements.
• Document patrols, incidents, and unusual activity, and communicate relevant information to site leadership and Allied Universal management.

Minimum Requirements:

• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
