Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, drivers, and delivery personnel by carrying out site-specific access control procedures and policies.
• Monitor entry and exit points; verify authorized access credentials, visitor registrations, and vehicle or driver documentation.
• Maintain access-related logs and reports; communicate unusual activity to site leadership and emergency responders as directed.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations calmly following established protocols.
• Conduct regular patrols of entry points, loading areas, parking areas, and perimeter to deter unauthorized access.

As an Access Control Officer at a logistics and distribution location, you will help manage entry points, verify credentials, monitor activity, and support a secure environment for employees, visitors, and shipments. Sat07:00 AM – 03:00 PM

What You’ll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, drivers, and delivery personnel by carrying out site-specific access control procedures, policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.

• Monitor entry and exit points at a logistics and distribution location; verify authorized access credentials, visitor registrations, and vehicle or driver documentation in accordance with site procedures.

• Maintain accurate access-related logs and reports for visitors, contractors, deliveries, and incidents; communicate unusual activity to site leadership and/or emergency responders as directed.

• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner while following established protocols.

• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned entry points, loading areas, parking areas, and the business perimeter to help deter unauthorized access and report security-related concerns.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.

• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
