Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and vendors at a technology/telecom site by following security procedures.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials, and document entry per site requirements.
• Respond to incidents and alarms calmly and report observations to appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of business areas, exterior grounds, and parking areas.
• Prepare accurate activity reports, incident documentation, and shift handoff information.

You will provide exceptional customer service, communicate clearly with employees and visitors, and support access control and loss prevention activities. Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $14.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Sat – 06:00 AM – 02:00 PM
• Sun – 06:00 AM – 02:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and vendors at a technology and telecommunications location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials, and document visitor and contractor entry in accordance with site requirements.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; communicate observations and required information to appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of business areas, exterior grounds, parking areas, and perimeter locations; working environments and conditions may vary by site.
• Prepare accurate activity reports, incident documentation, and shift handoff information in accordance with Allied Universal and site-specific requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

• CPR/First Aid certification is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Loss prevention experience is preferred.
• At this site there are limited on-site facilities such as portable toilets and rustic guard shacks.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
