Qualifications

• Access control and badge experience preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet.
• Customer service experience preferred.
• Be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check required under federal, state, and local laws.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may be required by state/local laws.
• A valid driver’s license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Pay Rate: $17.56 / Hour

Job Schedule: DayTimeFri06:00 AM - 02:00 PMSat08:00 AM - 08:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to drivers, visitors, employees, and delivery personnel by carrying out site-specific access control procedures, policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials and authorization, maintain visitor and contractor logs, and direct authorized individuals to designated areas.
• Control entry and exit of vehicles and personnel, follow established screening procedures, and report unauthorized access attempts or unusual activity to appropriate site contacts.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols and communicating observations clearly.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, parking areas, loading docks, and the business perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.

Minimum Requirements:

• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
