Allied Universal® is seeking a Security Officer Part Time Armed RPO Patrol in Marlton, NJ. You will safeguard clients across healthcare settings, patrol facilities, deter incidents, manage access control, and respond professionally to security concerns.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of combined law enforcement, military, or security-related experience or a college degree.
• Armed Guard Card or License required.
• New Jersey RPO Certificate required.
• Access control and badge experience preferred.
• Must be at least 21 for armed roles.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and vendors by following security procedures and site policies.
• Respond to incidents and medical emergencies calmly and escalate as needed.
• Conduct armed patrols throughout healthcare facilities and perimeter locations to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials, and report suspicious behavior.
• Maintain firearms qualifications and comply with laws and company policies.

What You’ll Do:

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities in a healthcare setting.
• Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established post orders and escalation procedures.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout healthcare facilities, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as required, and report suspicious behavior, hazards, and/or policy violations to appropriate personnel.
• Maintain required firearms qualifications and follow all applicable laws, post orders, and Allied Universal policies related to armed patrol duties.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess 3+ years of combined law enforcement, military, or security-related experience or a college degree.
• Possess an Armed Guard Card or License.
• Possess a New Jersey RPO Certificate.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
