Qualifications

• At least 1 year of security-related experience.
• At least 2 years in a healthcare/medical field.
• CPR certification preferred.
• Customer service experience preferred.
• Ages: 18+ for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Background check and drug screen required.
• Licensing may be required by state/local laws.
• Valid driver's license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and contractors per site procedures.
• Respond to incidents and emergencies calmly per established protocols.
• Conduct regular/unarmed patrols of interior/exterior areas and perimeters.
• Monitor access points and verify visitor/contractor authorization.

Pay Rate: $20.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

DayTimeTue07:00 AM - 06:00 PM Thur07:00 AM - 06:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and/or contractors by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-control practices, and emergency response activities at a healthcare location.
• Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, behavioral concerns, and other critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established protocols and notifying appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of assigned interior areas, exterior grounds, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify and report unusual activity, hazards, and security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points, verify visitor and contractor authorization as directed, and assist with maintaining orderly entry and exit procedures.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports of incidents, observations, and security-related activities, and communicate relevant information to site leadership and Allied Universal supervisors.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess at least one year of security-related experience.
• Possess at least two years of service in a healthcare/medical-related field.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
