Job summary

Allied Universal, North America’s leading security and facility services company, seeks a Security Officer Unarmed Patrol Operations in Jersey Shore, PA. You will monitor a healthcare facility, maintain a visible security presence, and provide exceptional customer service while documenting observations using on-site technology.

This part-time role offers a weekend schedule and opportunities to claim additional shifts through our platform.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation and drug screen where permitted by law.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees at a healthcare-related pharmaceutical facility by carrying out site-specific procedures and access-control protocols.
• Conduct regular foot and/or vehicle patrols of the facility, parking areas, entrances, perimeter, and other designated locations.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as required, maintain logs, and report unauthorized access or policy violations.

Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $18.00 / Hour

• Comfortable Using Computer or Tablet (B204)
  Proficiency in using computers or tablets is essential. Candidates must be comfortable navigating software applications and performing basic troubleshooting.
  A background in customer service is preferred. Candidates should be able to demonstrate effective communication skills and a commitment to providing excellent service.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees at a healthcare-related pharmaceutical facility by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-control protocols, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of the facility, parking areas, entrances, perimeter, and other designated locations to help identify and report unusual conditions or security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as required, maintain accurate logs, and report unauthorized access attempts or policy violations to site leadership.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, medical-related events, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem‑solving manner, following established site procedures.
• Document observations, patrol activity, incidents, and daily operations in clear and timely reports; communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and client representatives.

Minimum Requirements:

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
