Allied Universal is hiring a part-time Security Officer Patrol Operations in Atlantic City, NJ. You will conduct unarmed patrols at a healthcare location, deter security issues, and provide exceptional customer service to patients, visitors, and staff.

You will work with a flexible schedule, using our shift-claim platform to build hours while maintaining a visible, professional presence and following established procedures.

Qualifications

• Minimum Requirements: customer service experience preferred.
• Access control and badge experience preferred.
• Ability to lift more than 20 pounds preferred.
• Security license (state/county/city) preferred.
• Guard card or license preferred.
• Age: 18+ for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Background check as per law; drug screen as allowed.
• Licensing requirements may apply by state/local laws.
• Driver's license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and vendors while carrying out site-specific security procedures.
• Respond to incidents and emergencies in a calm, professional manner following protocols.
• Conduct regular unarmed patrols of the healthcare location and report unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity; assist with directions and site information.
• Maintain a professional presence to deter unauthorized activity and welcome patients and staff.

Pay Rate: $17.00 / Hour

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and/or vendors while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, medical-related emergencies, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established protocols and notifying appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the healthcare location, including exterior areas, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter, to help identify and report unusual conditions or activity.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, assist with directions and site information, and document security-related incidents and observations in accordance with site procedures.
• Maintain a professional presence that helps to deter unauthorized activity while supporting a welcoming environment for patients, visitors, and staff.

Minimum Requirements:

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• The ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
• A state, county, or city-issued security-related license is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
