Qualifications

• Must be 21+ years old for armed roles.

• State/local licensing requirements may apply.

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site policies, and alarm/ emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents calmly and follow established procedures and reporting requirements.
• Conduct regular armed patrols throughout the facility, grounds, access points, and perimeter to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor for unusual conditions, access-control concerns, and hazards; document and report observations.
• Maintain armed post readiness and complete accurate activity reports, adhering to laws, policies, and training requirements.

What You'll Do

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site procedures and reporting requirements.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the facility, surrounding grounds, access points, and perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor for unusual conditions, access-control concerns, and potential hazards, and promptly document and communicate observations to appropriate personnel.
• Maintain required armed post readiness, complete accurate activity reports, and follow applicable laws, policies, and training requirements.

Minimum Requirements

• Possess at least 1 year of law enforcement experience, 2 years of security supervisor or manager experience, or 3 years of security experience.
• An Armed Guard Card or license is preferred.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
