As an Armed Patrol Officer at a busy retail location, you will conduct vehicle and foot patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, respond to security-related concerns, and provide outstanding customer service and communication. Pay Rate: $18.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

Sat 10:00 AM - 05:00 PM; Sun 10:00 AM - 05:00 PM

What You\'ll Do:

• Provide customer service to customers, visitors, and team members while carrying out security-related procedures and location-specific policies.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the retail location, parking areas, receiving areas, and perimeter to identify and report suspicious activity, hazards, and policy violations.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, and problem-solving manner, including assisting with emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Maintain a visible presence to help to deter theft, trespassing, and other unauthorized activity while following all armed post procedures and applicable regulations.
• Document incidents, patrol activity, and observations accurately, and communicate concerns to Allied Universal leadership, store management, and/or emergency personnel as needed.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Possess a Texas Level III Armed Certification.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
