Allied Universal is hiring a Security Officer Part Time Armed Mobile Patrol Driver in Big Spring, TX. You will perform armed patrols, respond to incidents, and maintain a visible security presence to deter threats at a busy retail location.

The role emphasizes customer service, safety compliance, and clear reporting. A valid Texas Level III Armed Certification and a current driver's license are required, with flexible part-time scheduling through our Claim a Shift platform.

Qualifications

• Provide customer service to shoppers and store personnel while carrying out security-related procedures.
• Conduct regular armed patrols throughout the retail location, parking areas, and perimeter.
• Monitor entrances, exits, sales floors, and other assigned areas for suspicious behavior or policy violations.
• Respond to incidents in a calm, professional manner and coordinate with law enforcement when needed.
• Document patrol activity and incidents through accurate reports.

Pay Rate: $18.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Mon 10:00 AM - 05:00 PM
• Tue 10:00 AM - 05:00 PM
• Wed 10:00 AM - 05:00 PM
• Thur 10:00 AM - 05:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to shoppers and store personnel while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the retail location, parking areas, and perimeter to help deter theft, trespassing, and other prohibited activity.
• Monitor entrances, exits, sales floors, and other assigned areas for suspicious behavior, policy violations, and security-related concerns.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, professional, and problem-solving manner, requesting assistance from law enforcement and/or emergency personnel when appropriate.
• Document patrol activity, incidents, and observations through accurate reports and promptly communicate relevant information to authorized personnel.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Possess a Level III Armed Certification in Texas.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
