Allied Universal is seeking a part-time Security Officer Armed Vehicle Patrol Driver in Big Spring, TX. You will drive, patrol, and deter incidents while maintaining a professional presence and excellent customer service for shoppers, employees, and visitors.

The role requires an active Level III Armed Certification in Texas, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to work scheduled evenings. Pay is $18.00 per hour with opportunities for shift selection and growth.

Qualifications

• Pass background investigation and drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to shoppers, employees and visitors while following security procedures.
• Conduct regular armed patrols of store entrances, parking areas, and perimeter to deter theft.
• Respond to incidents calmly and coordinate with law enforcement when needed.
• Monitor for suspicious activity and document incidents with accurate reports.
• Carry and maintain an assigned firearm in accordance with policies and laws.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to shoppers, employees, and visitors while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of the store, entrances, parking areas, loading zones, and perimeter to help deter theft, trespassing, and other prohibited activity.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, professional, and problem-solving manner, contacting law enforcement and/or emergency services when appropriate.
• Monitor for suspicious behavior, unauthorized access, and policy violations, and document incidents through accurate reports.
• Carry and maintain an assigned firearm in accordance with Allied Universal standards, licensing requirements, and applicable laws.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Possess a Level III Armed Certification in Texas.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
