Job summary

Allied Universal, North America’s leading security and facility services company, is seeking a Part Time Armed Deterrence Patrol in Memphis, TN. You will serve and safeguard clients across healthcare settings, maintaining a visible presence to deter incidents and support a welcoming environment for patients, visitors, and staff.

Qualifications

• Possess a valid armed guard card or license.
• Experience with handcuffs, pepper spray, and/or a baton preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification preferred.
• Be at least 21 years old for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and/or vendors while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of hospital buildings, parking areas, and surrounding grounds to help identify and report unusual activity, hazards, and/or policy concerns.
• Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate hospital personnel and/or emergency responders as needed.
• Monitor access points and help manage visitor, patient, and contractor access in accordance with site-specific procedures.
• Prepare accurate incident reports and maintain required documentation related to patrol activities, observations, and responses.

What You'll Do
