Fortune Bay Resort Casino is seeking a Security Officer to maintain a safe environment for guests, staff, and assets through vigilant patrols and positive interactions. You will monitor entrances, assist customers, and respond to emergencies while following established security policies.
The role requires the ability to work with the public, supervise areas, and handle emergencies effectively. Training includes CPR and TIPs within the first year.
Reports To: Security Shift Supervisor/Security Manager
FLSA Status: Non-Exempt
Pay Grade: Grade 5
Starting Wage: $16.10 - $19.91
Gaming Class: Compact/Gaming
The Security Officer, through observation, patrol, and customer/employee relations, is responsible toprovide and maintain a safe environment for customers, employees, and casino assets to prevent loss of profit due to fire, theft, vandalism, embezzlement, and other forms of crime. A Security Officer should have the ability to work with the public, supervise areas and groups of people, and be responsible and effective in emergency situations.

The Security Officer must have a High School diploma or general education degree (GED).
Incumbent must obtain CPR Certification within one year of employment.
Must become Tips Certified within one year of employment.
Must have computer typing skills. Must have the ability to tolerate various scents, noises, and bright lights.
