As an Unarmed Patrol Officer supporting a government location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. Pay Rate: $18.87 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Mon 10:00 AM - 04:00 PM
• Tue 10:00 AM - 04:00 PM
• Wed 10:00 AM - 04:00 PM
• Thur 10:00 AM - 04:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and agency personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a government location.
• Monitor access points, verify authorization in accordance with site procedures, and assist with visitor management and direction.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting and reporting observations according to established procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout assigned government facilities, grounds, and perimeter areas to help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Maintain accurate activity logs and incident reports, and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least six months of security-related experience.
• A state, county, or city-issued security-related license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
