Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and vendors at a financial institution by following site-specific access control procedures.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials and visitor authorization, manage visitor records, report unauthorized access or irregular activity.
• Respond to access control alarms, incidents, and critical situations calmly and escalate as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of entrances, restricted areas, parking areas, and the perimeter.
• Maintain logs and reports on visitor activity, incidents, patrol observations, and shift handoffs.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and vendors at a financial institution by carrying out site-specific access control procedures, policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials and visitor authorization, manage visitor entry records, and report unauthorized access attempts or irregular activity to appropriate personnel.
• Respond to access control alarms, incidents, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established escalation procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of entrances, restricted areas, parking areas, and the business perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Maintain accurate logs and written reports regarding visitor activity, access-related incidents, patrol observations, and shift handoffs.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
• A state, county, or city-issued security-related license is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
