Qualifications

• CPR certification is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
• A state, county, or city-issued security-related license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories.
• A drug screen may be required.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and vendors at a financial institution location by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-control protocols, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of interior areas, exterior grounds, parking areas, and the business perimeter to help identify and report unusual conditions or policy concerns.
• Monitor access points, verify visitor and contractor authorization, and maintain accurate logs and incident documentation in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, promptly notifying appropriate site contacts and emergency services when needed.
• Help to deter unauthorized activity through a professional presence, observation, and timely reporting of security-related concerns.
