Allied Universal in Lebanon, TN is seeking a part-time Security Officer – Access Operations. You will manage entry/exit, verify credentials, monitor logs, and deter incidents while maintaining a welcoming atmosphere for employees and visitors.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and delivery drivers by carrying out site-specific access-control procedures.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and/or authorization, and maintain logs.
• Control access for employees, vendors, and vehicles; communicate access concerns to site contacts.
• Respond to incidents and complete required reports.
• Conduct regular patrols of assigned access points and perimeter to deter unauthorized activity.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and delivery drivers by carrying out site-specific access-control procedures, policies, and emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and/or authorization, and maintain visitor, contractor, and driver logs in accordance with site procedures.
• Control access for employees, vendors, and commercial vehicles entering warehouse, yard, and distribution areas; communicate access concerns to appropriate site contacts.
• Respond to incidents, access-control concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; document observations and complete required reports.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned access points, warehouse areas, parking areas, and perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
