As a Security Officer Access Point Security in Mount Juliet, TN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As an Access Control Officer at a logistics and distribution location, you will help manage entry and exit points, verify credentials, monitor access activity, and report security-related concerns. You will maintain a visible presence, help deter incidents, and provide exceptional customer service and communication to employees, visitors, and drivers. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and delivery personnel by carrying out access control procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and authorization, maintain visitor and contractor records, and help to control access to restricted areas.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; communicate observations and concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, loading areas, parking areas, and the business perimeter, reporting security-related concerns and unusual activity.
• Support the movement of authorized employees, drivers, vendors, and guests while helping to deter unauthorized access and maintaining professional interactions.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
