Join Allied Universal as an Access Control Officer at a fast-paced logistics and distribution location. You will manage entry points, verify access credentials, monitor activity, and help maintain a secure environment for employees, visitors, and operations. Deliver outstanding customer service and clear communication while supporting a caring, agile, reliable, and innovative team that acts with integrity.

Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $16.33 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Sat 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM
• Sun 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM

What You’ll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, drivers, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Control access to the facility by verifying credentials, monitoring entry and exit points, documenting visitor and contractor activity, and directing authorized personnel to appropriate areas.
• Monitor vehicle, pedestrian, and package movement at gates, docks, and/or other designated access points; report unauthorized access attempts or unusual activity according to site procedures.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, promptly communicating observations to site leadership and/or emergency responders as directed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business, perimeter, parking areas, and loading zones to help to deter unauthorized activity; working environments and conditions may vary by client site.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
